Hey there, guys. Asmo here, with my latest "benchmark" of sorts.
To my longtime watchers, this is hardly a new piece. Actually, it's one of my oldest ones, dating back to 2004. Well, not exactly. This is the original: Original Piece I redid this picture in Fall of 2005, as kind of a test. It was considerably better, and I was quite pleased (and still am, actually) with it: First Remake And now we're here, Spring 2008, with my next revision. I gotta say....it makes me happy, ^^. I love this to begin with...but this is the first piece I've ever properly painted...as in build all the colors from the hues of the background. Takes a little while longer...but man it pays off in the long run. I know I said I'd take a break from lineart...but I couldn't resist this. Let me know what you guys think.
